"My vaginal walls do not protrude,
is there anything that can be done?"

Dear Jacqui:
Two questions; after having my first child, I've been left with a vagina that the walls don't protrude but can be very clearly seen. I can't do pelvic floor exercises. My gynecologist confirmed this. I'm also unhappy about the stitching as I feel as though it isn't complete. Is there anything that can now be done?
Sonya

Dear Sonya:
I can understand you unhappiness and concerns. Firstly, I suggest that you get a second opinion from a good female gynecologist. I believe a woman can possibly better understand what you are going through and give you a proper exam to see if anything is wrong with the healing process.

She might also be able to advise you if any surgical measures are advisable and what you might expect from the outcome. I also feel that it might really help you to speak to a psychiatrist about your pressures and concerns. I know it could relieve a lot of your anxieties.

Jacqui
