"Are there any natural home
remedies for a yeast infection?"

Dear Jacqui,
Are there any natural or at home remedies for a yeast infection? I heard that you could put plain yogurt on a tampon and insert that, is that true? Ashley

Dear Ashley,
No, unfortunately yogurt doesn't work. You really need specific medication, which you can buy over the counter to clear up the yeast infection. And, by the way, are you sure it is a yeast infection? If you're not 100% sure it might be worth to have a quick check-up.

Also, I suggest you take special care with your personal hygiene to avoid further vaginal infections. No sitting in bubble baths, and, it's best to use a pH balanced soap or body wash for cleansing. Definitely no products containing fragrance, chemical colors or additives, even plant additives. They interfere with the healthy natural balance of your vaginal environment, and that's when infections are most likely to happen.

You may wish to try the Very Private Body Wash. It?s mild, pH balanced and helps to avoid vaginal irritations just by washing daily. You can find it on www.veryprivate.com under products. I wish you quick recovery.
