"Is there a scented lubricant
that is safe for intimacy?"

Dear Jacqui,
Hi, my husband and I found this wonderful oil which we were using for massage. It was so nice in texture and aroma that we tried it as a vaginal lubricant. Unfortunately this resulted in a nasty yeast infection. Having resolved that issue, we then switched to KY and Astroglide, which are okay but not nearly as erotic. My question is simple. Is there a lubricant we can scent ourselves and still use it safely both vaginally and orally? Much thanks, Ana

Dear Ana,
Sorry to be a spoilsport, but vaginal products that are not FDA approved are simply not safe inside the body. This is why companies spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to develop safe formulas, which will pass the very strict FDA requirements. Maybe they are less fun but they are safe.

We know a great deal about KY and Astroglide. We don't propose Astroglide, which was developed for the homosexual market. Our advisors and many of our visitors avoid the formula because of its composition.

We can recommend Very Private® Intimate Moisture that is richer in consistency. It is made of two moisturizers to protect the delicate vaginal tissue and a lubricant to increased playfulness. It contains no fragrance and is pH balanced and FDA approved. You can find it on our website www.veryprivate.com under products.

For pleasurable "sniffing" I suggest you rub a drop of your favorite perfume into the upper part of your vaginal hair. This can produce olfactory pleasure without disturbing the vaginal environment. I hope it works to give you pleasure without risk.

Jacqui
