This is a rather bizarre question and very embarassing. While having sexual intercourse, the penis will be penetrating the vagina. As it is doing that, air seems to be rushed inside the cavity. As the penis is making thrusting motions back and forth, the air is then ejaculated back out but making a loud farting noise. However it is not a fart because it is coming from my vagina. As you can see that is very embarassing. What causes this and how can I prevent it? Ginger

Relax? There hardly is a couple having enjoyed intercourse that did not experience these little "noises" during lovemaking. The best thing is to talk about these funky little love farts and have a good giggle with your partner. It can happen when the penis enters the vagina at different angles that may leave a little room along the vaginal wall.

It may happen in any number of positions. Some positions are tighter than others and air can penetrate or get squeezed. It is nothing shameful, it's just the way our bodies play little tricks on us. Once you can talk about it and laugh about it you won't feel embarrassed, I'm sure.
