"Chemo and radiation
therapy making me dry"

Dear Jacqui,
Have been through chemotherapy and radiation. My problem is this has caused vaginal dryness, which makes intercourse painful. I am 60 years old. Can you suggest something?
Beth

Dear Beth,
I am a cancer survivor so I can understand your problems deeply. Because so many women share our problem we've developed the Very Private products. The Very Private Intimate Moisture is both a double moisturizer to hydrate and protect the dry, vaginal tissue and a lubricant to make the beginning of intimacy easier and more comfortable.

The product has worked well for many women in our situation, including me, and hopefully may help you. I suggest you use a little daily, after washing, between your vaginal lips and around the vaginal opening. And always use it before and, if needed, during intimacy. It feels very natural.

You must, however, be very mindful about cleansing products that could be very drying. Only use products that are mild (don't foam a lot) and pH balanced to the vaginal arena such as the Very Private products are. Avoid any products containing fragrance, plant additives, vitamins or chemical colors. Abstain from sitting in bubble bath and never use douches. I wish you good health, above all and happy holidays.

Jacqui
